A festive Sunday lunch in Bavaria…

…is traditionally centered around a freshly oven-roast pork with a crust, on the side you will find “Knoedel” or “Kloesse” and “Sauerkraut” or white cabbage in a hearty vinaigrette (I mean, first it is fermented, then spiced).
Gathered around the table: three generations, at least, theold uncle telling war stories, the grandmother talking health, the youngsters running around the table, smashing glasses, spilling sauce, you know the deal: family stuff.
