Crunchy on the outside, juicy and tasty on the inside they’re evoking childhood memories and feelings out of time. But please don’t buy the deep-frozen ones, the poor, mealy brothers of those you could do yourself at home. ‘Cause in the end, it is that simple: You need a piece of fish, a handful of flour, an egg, some breadcrumbs and you’re ready to go. “I’m loving it”, as they say at McDonald’s but they have absolutely no idea.
