Good food for good friends…

…leads to a good party on a Saturday evening in Paris. On my buffet yesterday: mackerels cooked in miso, Vietnamese spring rolls, Wiener Schnitzel as finger food, Thai spiced chicken (with loads of coriander), Japanese-style cabbage salad, Italian-style salade folle, and a lot of FRENCH cheese. Camembert de Normandie, Ossau-Iraty, Valencay and Puligny, Neufchâtel and Crottin de Chavignol, Roquefort and Bleu d’Auvergne, Epoisse and Rocamadour, accompanied by Champagne and wines from Languedoc, Minervois, Alsace and Bordeaux. At 4 o’clock in the morning, I went to bed, stuffed, drunk and happily exhausted.
