…a legendary French chef and he deserves all the praise. I would consider his cook book Tout Robuchon to be the reference when it comes to home made French cuisine. In his restaurants, he’s a magician, too. His Atelier in Paris has re-invented high class French cooking by giving it a less high-brow and more accessible twist – and this also describes the style of the man: Food lovers all over France still remember his good, old-fashioned TV appearances, when he presented young talents and other great colleagues from the French regions, cooking the classics with them, explaining products, spices, recipes; like a good uncle, in fact.
Nowadays, Robuchon is a flying chef, a manager, a dancer around the globe with starry restaurants all over, in Macao, in Hong Kong, in New York, you name it. South China Morning Post from Hong Kong, one of the better and more outspoken Chinese newspapers, has sent a TV team to Paris to talk to him. Feel free to watch the result. It’s quite interesting, actually.
